Operations and Services
More than 23 years of service
Rotor-Lift has been part of Tasmania’s landscape for 23 years, proudly supporting Police, search and rescue (SAR) operations and medical transport services for our communities.
Tasmania boasts some of Australia’s most rugged and unforgiving terrain which presents challenges that provide the perfect training environment for both our pilots and students. We are a service-oriented company, managing our aviation activities as a mature quality aware organisation.
Rotor-Lift was the first in Australia to set up an Advanced Flight Academy catering specifically to the demanding role of SAR and medical operations. A major achievement for Rotor-Lift we were the first company to bring Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) to Australia. This was as a game-changer for emergency operations as it enhanced safety in our operations and significantly increased our capabilities.
Rotor-Lift is focused on the safety-critical elements of aviation. We continue to build on our years of knowledge and experience so the Tasmanian community can enjoy all our state has to offer, knowing that help is never far away.
